Strategies for Comparing Fractions

  1. 5 eights is greater than 2 sixths because 2 sixths is less than a half and 5 eights is over a half. from Hayden G

  2. I know 3/6 is equal to a half so 2/6 is less than a half. I know that 4/8 is equal to a half so 5/8 is greater than a half. There for 5/8 is greater than 2/6.
